Today The Ocean City Sentinel, a local paper I used to work for before the Great Plague of 2020, ran an article about my recent honor as a finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards. I’m humbled that they took what was a plain ol’ press release I gave them and turned it into a feature story.
I wish to thank Sentinel editors David Nahan and Craig D. Schenck for this wonderful article. Kudos, gents! Keep up the good work!

I’m On a Podcast, Y’all!
Shadow Spark Publishing has a podcast and they interviewed me about writing, weird speculative fiction, and my latest work. You can watch the podcast episode here. I had fun talking to Jessica Moon, Erika McCorkle, Valerie Storm, and Alyssa Lauseng and can’t wait to do it again.
Oh, wait. I just did!
This past Saturday I recorded another episode of the Shadow Spark Podcast with writers who contributed stories to Shadow Spark Publishing’s new anthology HORN(Y), which is dropping Wednesday, June 21. It’s a naughty, smutty collection of stories involving sex and demons. We had way too much fun recording that episode. More info about that soon.
Midnight at Bat Hollow Taking Flight
My next novel, Midnight at Bat Hollow, drops on Amazon in paperback and eBook on Saturday, June 10, only a few days away! You can still preorder the eBook version if you dare.
Until next time, be well and embrace the weird!
