The Martyr’s Vow series continues

This month I’m busy with final edits for Mr. Penny-Farthing, Book 2 of The Martyr’s Vow. A sequel to Accursed Son, Mr. Penny-Farthing continues Tark and Vonnie’s story as monster hunting bikers from the Legion of the Lamb. The couple is together in Arizona, where the bloodthirsty spirit of a serial killer is causing havoc. Enter Mr. Penny-Farthing, a mysterious stranger who hires Tark and Vonnie to track down the wayrd soul. Struggling in their relationship and with a target on their backs, Tark and Vonnie must stop an occultist fanboy from summoning hellspawn with a taste for human flesh. Filled with demons, gore, and tacos, Mr. Penny-Farthing will be available Dec. 15, with pre-orders beginning Nov. 15.

Francois Vaillancourt, the fantastic artist who illustrated the biker patch cover to Accursed Son, is working on the art for Mr. Penny-Farthing. After viewing the preliminary designs, I can say this book cover perectly captures the book’s creepiness and unsettling vibes. To capitalize on the spooky season, I hope to have a cover reveal on Halloween. Watch this space for more details.

Accursed Son named finalist

American Book Fest announced that my novel Accursed Son is a finalist in the Horror: Occult category of the 2023 American Fiction Awards! I’m thrilled to receive this honor for my work. Hell, I’m thrilled to receive ANY honor at this point.

This is the second time this year Accursed Son placed in a literary contest. Back in June it was a finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards in the Suspense category.

You go, scrappy little novel!
